SheetGate ("we", "our", "us") operates the sheetgate.app website and service. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, and protect your information when you use SheetGate.

1. Information We Collect

Account information. When you sign in with Google OAuth, we receive your name, email address, and profile picture from your Google account. We do not receive or store your Google password.

Google Sheets data. When you connect a Google Sheet, we access only the spreadsheets you explicitly share with SheetGate. We read sheet data to generate your API endpoints. We do not access any other files in your Google Drive.

Payment information.Payments are processed by Stripe. We do not store your credit card numbers or bank details. Stripe's privacy policy applies to payment data.

Usage data. We collect basic analytics such as page views, API call counts, and error logs to improve the service.

2. How We Use Your Information

We use your information to:

• Provide and maintain the SheetGate service
• Authenticate your identity via Google OAuth
• Generate API endpoints from your Google Sheets data
• Process payments through Stripe
• Send transactional emails (via SendGrid) such as account notifications
• Monitor and improve service reliability

3. Data Storage & Security

Your data is stored in Supabase, a hosted PostgreSQL database with row-level security. Data is encrypted in transit (TLS) and at rest. We retain your data for as long as your account is active. You may request deletion at any time.

4. Third-Party Services

We use the following third-party services that may process your data:

• Google OAuth — authentication
• Google Sheets API — reading spreadsheet data you share
• Supabase — database and authentication infrastructure
• Stripe — payment processing
• SendGrid — transactional email delivery
• Vercel — hosting and deployment

5. Cookies

We use essential cookies to maintain your session and authentication state. We do not use third-party tracking cookies or advertising cookies.

6. Data Sharing

We do not sell, rent, or share your personal information with third parties except as necessary to provide the service (e.g., Stripe for payments, SendGrid for email). We may disclose information if required by law.

7. Your Rights

You have the right to:

• Access the personal data we hold about you
• Request correction of inaccurate data
• Request deletion of your account and associated data
• Revoke Google Sheets access at any time through your Google account settings

8. Children's Privacy

SheetGate is not intended for use by children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children.

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will notify you of significant changes by email or through the service.
